Oh my! I love this bread. It is sweet enough and light enough that my kids enjoy it. Dense enough and dark enough that my *white bread hater" friends love it but not too dense either. Not at all dry. Not difficult at all but the rye bread flour was tough to find in my area. Otherwise, 5 thumbs up!
The cake is very good although I usually don't make recipes that reuire stiffening egg whites. The cake is light and sweet, not heavy. However, the skins on my plums are sour and I need to sweeten them to make it a better tasting recipe. I sprinkled powdered sugar on them and it helped a little. Again, very good overall.
very good hot with vanilla ice cream to cut some of the tartness some plum skins have.
very good. I could not even wait for the burger to be cooked. I ate one of the buns with nothing on it while it was still warm and was delicious.
Made the recipe exactly as it is written. Everyone complimented me for this cake at a party. However, it really is better the same day than day 2. The sauce is my favorite part.
These are good, but I didn't know whether to cook the sausage before putting them into the balls. I cooked it a bit, then crumbled them up into the Bisquick.
