My boyfriend has recently jumped on the vegetarian ban-wagon along side me (7yrs) so I have been trying new recipes and this recipe is actually really good. I used the trader joe's brand bbq sauce and used 21 season salute along with whole wheat flour and it tasted awesome. I recommend baking the tofu prior to get the chicken texture. He told me it really did taste like bbq chicken. Easy and very pleased with the end result!

I have had my fair share of stuffing and this by far puts the rest to shame. The absolute best recipe for stuffing, super tasty. Delicious with no variations. It is really hard to believe this recipe is healthy because it is so sinfully good. My boyfriend surprised me with this recipe for Valentines day, WOW. I am BLESSED. eat and be happy. yuuum.

ya... so this certainly calls for too much vegetable oil. you can get away with just 1/3 c of oil. I also rolled them in balls and then in powdered sugar to add the crinkle effect. They came out good, my brother who doesn't have a sweet tooth actually enjoyed them. Who knew all it took was a box of cake mix... kids...

Kind of your traditional granola recipe... honey, brown sugar, and maple syrup.. but don't fix what's not broken! When I make granola, I heat the honey, brown sugar, etc. over the stove and add the vanilla last, after its off the heat, that way it doesn't cook out the alcohol and the flavor is still there. Also once i pour the granola onto the baking sheets, i sprinkle more brown sugar on top so that it gives it more of a crisp crunch after it is done baking and had time to cool... its good that way. I always add extra bran, no one can tell, use as little oil as I can get away with to keep it healthy, and just throw in whatever is laying around the kitchen for the mixins.. no batch is ever the same. VERY GOOD.

wow! now i know i am only one in a million in this recipe's sea of reviews, but it goes without saying, this delicious dense full flavored loaf was delicious and easy. last minute i was looking for a quick recipe without having a dozen dishes to wash after. this was basically dump and mix and go about your merry way. great recipe for a nice fall gathering with friends, wine and a chunk of pumpkin bread!

White Brownies

I took the advice of adding more milk to the batter but only ended up with basically white CAKE, not brownies. they were cake-ie and i was not super impressed. next time if i ever decide to make this recipe again i will not add any additional milk.

Focaccia Bread

absolutely incredible! i added more fresh rosemary and the aroma filled up the entire house. I made sandwiches with this bread for my vegetarian boyfriend. i filled the sandwich with roasted eggplant and zucchini, mushrooms sauteed in butter with a mayo and minced garlic mix on both sides of the bread. he told me this sandwich could be sold in a restaurant for ten dollars. now when he is craving the sandwich he simply asks for the "ten dollar" sandwich. enjoy!

so easy and a real crowd pleaser. 7 layer bars are one of those desserts that is 'take-me-back' comfort food. i used white chips and butterscotch chips for a twist on this bar cookie, which turned out to be a real success. half the time you will have a majority of the ingredients already in your pantry. if you are looking to make this recipe a bit less rich, i recommend using less condensed milk and using white chips vs. semi sweet ALSO if you want another unconventional spin on this recipe, instead of crushing graham crackers, try crushed teddy graham cookies in honey or chocolate! yum!

holy moly excellent! what a difference when you make it from scratch and bake a real pumpkin and scoop it. Agreed, adding additional pie spice adds to the flavor. Also, I made a opps! I used sweetened and condensed milk instead of evaporated milk. However, nobody noticed till we were cleaning up the kitchen after the pie had been demolished. It wasn't too sweet at all, it was a nice creamy and smooth pie so I will continue to use the sweetened condensed milk here forward, excellent recipe, thanks!

excellent! I substituted brown sugar as well, and omitted the ginger because I wanted to make these cookies kid friendly. They turned out delish! I rolled the cookies in sugar as well as 'sugar in the raw' giving it a nice homemade crystalized look. Sent these over to a friends house and they were gone before the night was over. Can't wait to make these again come Christmas time when the oven is on every night! look no further, this is your go to recipe!
