Soooo Gooood! I love mushrooms and couldn't wait to try this recipe. It's very creamy and has a delightful mushroom flavor. Followed the recipe to the "T". Can't wait to serve it to friends with my favorite marinated flank steak the next time, I'm sure it will be a hit.
Directions read: remove the (crushed) garlic? I sauted the garlic in the pan after the mushrooms were removed then added the rest of the ingredients. To change it up from time to time... you can add cooked chicken and fresh spinach at the end.
We love Chicken Marsala and anything with mushrooms...this was a very yummy creamy version. I followed the recipe except I substituted the Mascarpone cheese with Philadelphia Cooking Creme (Italian flavor). VERY flavorful dish and will make again when we have company for dinner.
Not a fan, maybe my slow cooker heats too hot on low because the thighs were over cooked at 5 hrs.
