I've made this for years but I use apricot preserves instead of the apple jelly and I don't add the dry mustard. This is fantastic served over grilled pork tenderloin. Guests inevitably request the recipe.
This is the best Cream of Asparagus soup I've ever had. I followed his advice and followed the recipe exactly (except I didn't have any milk so I used half and half, but definitely no chocolate chips or pine cones) and it turned out fantastic. I will never use any other recipe for cream of asparagus soup again!!
I made this sangria for a July 4h party and it was a huge hit! I quadrupled the recipe to make sure I had enough and I still ran out! I made it the evening before so the flavors would have a chance to blend. Fantastic!
OMG!! This recipe is AWESOME! I made it exactly as the recipe indicated, except after I had spooned it out of the food processor into the serving bowl I realized I had forgotten to add the garlic. I tasted it and it didn't need the garlic. It was fantastic as it was and I served it just that way. Huge hit! I will definitely make this again (not sure yet whether I will even mess with the garlic next time)!!!!
Use buttermilk instead of the silk and the scones will rise beautifully and taste much better too!
Quick and easy recipe, was very delicious. I did substitute 6 Roma tomatoes for the 3 large but otherwise followed it exactly. My guests loved it. I will be making again and again!
I made this exactly as described and it was fantastic!! I will definitely make this again and again. It made enough to serve two with enough left over for 4 to 5 more dinners for two.
I made this dip after reading all the reviews. The only changes I made were reducing the garlic to 3 cloves and adding a dash of hot sauce. 8 cloves of garlic would have been way too much. With the small changes I made, this is a real "go-to" dip for parties. My guests gobbled it down in record time!!
I made this recipe in my Instant Pot, omitting the bacon. I cooked everything on high for 45 mins and did the natural release (did NOT soak the beans) and in an hour had awesome soup. This will be the only ham and bean soup recipe I will ever use moving forward. Thanks for sharing!!
