I'm a mom of three girls, ages 22, 11 and 7 (yeah, I know... I was pacing myself). I really got interested in cooking about 15 years ago, not long after I got together with my husband - I decided I was going to be a GREAT wife! Well, he's gone, but I still love the kitchen. I don't always have the time to try new recipes or cook as much as I would like, but do as often as I can!

Taco Soup For Dummies

No kidding, the easiest thing you'll ever make. Open the containers, put it in a pan and when it's hot, it's done! Serve with tortilla chips warmed in a 350 oven for 5 minutes. Other great garnishes are shredded cheese, sour cream, fresh cilantro, and a squeeze of lime. It even freezes well!

Mawmaw's Spicy Crackers

Five simple ingredients should NOT be this tasty. Insanely delicious and ridiculously addictive... a new favorite! Kids love to help make them, and even my 5-year-old can eat them - spicy-adjacent might be a better description.

Praline cookie!

Adapted from a well-known Amaretti recipe... I really don't enjoy almond extract as much as I do pecans & brown sugar, so taDAH! these were born. Freaking fantastic (if I do say so myself).

Mac & Cheese

Homemade stovetop-style mac & cheese, easy & rich-tasting. The onions give it a surprisingly complex flavor, but it's as simple as can be!
