Five years of marriage + all the joys of courtship cooking beforehand. We all know how that goes. *wincing* "It's really um... *gulp* different... than the way I've seen it prepared before..."

And kids... they won't eat anything that isn't drenched in butter/sugar/salt. Luckily we Americans got a lot of each on just about everything.
