These cookies taste great! I made them as snickerdoodles and rolled them in cinnamon and sugar. I made a few modifications to my second batch because the first was too flat and hard to get off my air bake sheets. I added an extra 1/2 cup flour and chilled the dough fully before baking. Also I removed the cookies from the sheet right away and had a much easier time. They also needed 15 minutes to bake. The cookies came out a tad thicker but I still would like them to be thicker still. The search continues for the perfect sugar cookie!
Absolutely the best! I've been searching for a snickerdoodle recipe that made thicker cookies and I've found it! The only extra I added was vanilla. I did not chill the dough, there was no need to. Easy to get off the cookie sheet and crispy on the outside while being chewy on the inside. Perfect!
