I live in montreal with my husband Will and our dog Zeus. I am currently 8 months pregnant with our first child, who we plan to name Sally Chava. I was born and raised in southern ontario and I love experimenting with food, especially bread. I constantly call my mom half way through a recipe to ask her for advice. I like adding a new twist to her classic recipes.

one cup salad

This is a quick easy to make side dish that is always a hit at hoe-downs and hootenanys. One cup of each ingredient is added so it is easy to remember and fun to make with kids. If you are serving all the kin folk simply add two or three cups of each ingredient.

Bread machine Pitas

My mom used to buy these amazing little pita breads from Zehrs when I was in high school. Since I moved out of her house I developed this recipe to save money. They are great for breakfast toasted with butter, or for a snack with pizza toppings.
