You don't use the whole pound of bacon. The recipe only calls for 2-3 slices of bacon wrapped around each piece of chicken. Some people are reading the recipe incorrectly.

This is very easy and good. You can use any kind of roast such as rump, etc. I also toast the buns and add cheese.

Very easy and tasty. I was a little worried about "boiling" meat but, it was awesome. We had no left overs which is what I wanted so I could make sandwiches. Definately a keeper.

I wanted to like this but, it was simply way too hot. I only used 1/2 of the cayenne pepper. I like spicy food but after a few bites I was done. You would really need to like very hot/spicy food to enjoy this.

This is the easiest chili recipe I have ever made. The taste is fantastic. My family loves it. You could win a chili cook off with this recipe. This is now the recipe I use when making chili.

Southern Pulled Pork

This is a good recipe for pulled pork. I think that browning the meat is a must. It gives you that crust that smoking does. I would add a little more liquid smoke the next time. I used chicken broth instead of water. Came out delicious just a tad bland. In my opinion all pulled pork must be served dry. Then you can add sauce etc right before eating.

Loosemeat Sandwiches III

This recipe is spot on for Maid-Rites. It's an Iowa thing. I add a beef bullion cube and that is all. Must be served on a plain white bun. If you want onions they must be raw white and finely diced. Add pickle, ketchup, American cheese and mustard. If its any other way, its not a Maid-Rite. This is coming from someone born, raised and currently living Iowa.

These meatballs were very good. I made the recipe exactly as it is and they turned out phenomenal! Very moist yet tender meatballs with a great flavor. This my go to recipe for meatballs now. Very easy to make and no browning which is a plus for clean up.
