Really enjoyed this. I followed directions exactly and agree with many reviewers that there could have been more sauce. I would increase that next time....and I would do what someone else suggested in seasoning the chicken and adding a bit of soya sauce, to give it some colour. It was very good but esthetically, needed some colour.

Roasted Winter Vegetable Soup

Yummy. This was really great. I found however that there the quantity of vegetables indicatged in the recipe was in excess of what I needed. Perhaps our Canadian parsnips and rutabagas are bigger than the ones you guys have in the US, however, I ended up cutting back on the veggies, and still making a huge pot of soup. I left some of the veggies in pieces, rather than puree all of them, to add a bit of texture to the soup...but I loved it, my kids loved it too. Great one..thanks!

I am not sure if I cooked it too long...but I did find that the chicken was dry. I wish that I had served it earlier because the sauce looked really good. So I admit that the dryness could be related to my own preparation, but ultimately my success with this dish was limited.

Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup

yummy...great tasting. I added a bit of salt, because the recipe didn't use salt, but unfortunately we like things a bit on the salty side. I suggest that if pureeing the soup when hot..only fill up the blender to about 1/4 - 1/3. There will be less chance of exploding soup, that way. Enjoy! (Oh, and it is also pretty low cal..also a nice feature.)

If you like pastry food, not too sweet, this is really a good choice. It was better the next day, because it was a little less crumbly. But I really enjoyed this, and found that it went very fast in my house. Two days and it was gone, so it was obviously well liked by the family too.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

really good. Sweet, not really dry, which is always a concern in the cornbread department. Liked it a lot.

Simple Country Ribs

REALLY good. I will definitely make this again. I happened tyo use the recipe for the "A Very Popular BBQ sauce", and that made it a little labour intensive, but it really was a good alternative to some of the other recipes for ribs. aPPARENTLY making ribs is a rather complicated and involved process, so this recipe using that BBQ recipe, make a very tasty tender bunch of ribs.

Chili Cumin Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Not sure why, but the cheese seemed to vanish by the time this was cooked. THere was plenty of juice, but not really a sauce. I really love sauce, so I missed that there wasn't any, and of course, think that it would have tasted better if the cheese would have become more saucelike. Otherwise, good, but I wouldn't make it again.

Cranberry Waldorf with Yogurt

I think this is a fabulous recipe. I used dried cranberries instead of fresh, and found it to be really nice. I also cut down on the sugar because the vanilla yogurt and other sweet items were enough for me. Great..I have made this several times and will keep on making it.

I loved this. It was really easy to make. I admit that I left out the sunflower seeds, and accidentally put all the fluid ingredients together in the bowl. But then I just mixed it like crazy and spread it on the baking sheet. I baked and stirred it, and it came out really great. I woll make this again for sure...it is so much cheaper than buying granola in the store.

Really tasty dish. Very easy to make. I used fresh corn that I cut off a cob which was leftover. That worked out fine, and mixed together frozen corn as well. It is a bit spicy, but everyone who I served it to, liked it, and my niece, who thought she didn't like Quinoa...asked me for the recipe...so it must be good.
