This recipe was absolutely perfect. The chicken was tender and the flavor was wonderful. My finicky 9 yr old even loved it!

I do a similar dish using French Onion soup mix so I just added the rosemary toit and it was terrific.

Crispy Herb Baked Chicken

Wonderful dish the family loved it! I added a couple extra spices in according to my taste but I tend to personalize everything I cook. Beyond that I made no changes. thanks to the cook for sharing it here!!!

I tried this for a light healthy dinner. I haven't tried sun dried tomatoes yet and they were a bit pricey so I used fresh. I also added sliced ripe olives. I found whole wheat tortillas are going to take some getting used to other than that I loved it but hubby doesn't like the feta so next time I'll try a more Americanized cheese perhaps mozzarella or asiago. Take away the tortillas and you'll have an awesome salad. Very good recipe.

Chicken Cordon Bleu

This is among the best recipes I've tried off this site and that says alot! I used crushed croutons (garlic and butter) I followed a reviewers advice and dipped the chicken in egg before laying it on the croutons, topping it with ham and cheese and then rolling. Hubby loved it. I've been wanting to make this for a long time but thought I'd have to butterfly the chicken and I'm not that handy with knives. This recipe made it easy. I also tried the sauce another reviewer mentioned. I didn't really like it. It didn't really have flavor at first and then the lemon hit me. I think it's a good base but use less llemon maybe a teaspoon or even 1/2 teaspoon and maybe add some chicken broth or buillion. A chicken ramen flavor packet might work nice for that.

Rich and Creamy Beef Stroganoff

This was THE best stroganoff I've ever had and I didn't even make it right. 1st I made it with some ground turkey I had on hand. It wasn't saucy enough and I was rushed so I just added broth until I got it the consistency I wanted. Next time will add more of the other sauce elements also. I also used red wine vinegar as I had no wine on hand, and chicken broth because it was what I had and I ended up forgetting to add the pepper flakes (I'll add them next time). The vinegar, mustard and Worcestershire melded to a very nice distinct flavor. I will definitely be making this one again. Update: This is still my goto stroganoff recipe (so much better when done right). It's some work but sooo worth it the fam loves it. do yourself a favor and try it at least once.

Crazy Cake

My grandmother made this cake for years and it was the 2nd (the 1st was a pineapple upside down cake I made in home ec class) cake I ever made from scratch. I used to take it to the church socials. everyone loves it because it's so moist. I never frost it. It doesn't need it.

Classic Holiday Eggnog

This is a terrific and simple base recipe! A big thanks to the poster. I made eggnog a long time ago from another recipe and hated it. I went back to the store bought stuff until today. It's Particularly nice if you don't want to make a lot. I did modify it some. I used 1/2 whipping cream and 1/2 milk because I wanted it to be creamy. I added cloves and nutmeg to taste (for me that ended up being 1 1/2 t nutmeg and 1 t cloves. I also increased the vanilla. I increase the vanilla on any recipe I try that contains it though.

Fish Tacos

I was really not expecting to like this but I figured at worst I could have fried fish and lose the rest so I tried it. I really loved it the batter turned out perfect and was very easy to make. On the sauce I found that it's a little spicier than I would like and next time I will cut the cayenne back by about 1/4. Possibly because it was so spicy there was way more sauce than I needed. Not a problem I froze the rest and used for the next batch. It actually tamed it down a little bit. so if you freeze leftover sauce expect it to be less spicy when you thaw it. Other then that it was just like it was fresh.

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ok I just made these tonight. I used chocolate chips instead of chocolate chunks. I didn't measure the amount of chips I just eyeballed it. I also substituted thick sugar water for the corn syrup because I didn't have any. Other than that the only thing I changed was the cookie size and bake time. I used my Tablespoon measuring spoon and made rounded scoops. It made almost 3 dozen. It might have made the full three dozen but I have a cookie dough addiction. I also only baked them for 11 minutes. the 1st batch I did for 9 but I had to put them back in. even after they were still not quite right they wanted to fall apart. the other two I put in for 11 minutes and they were perfect. They were not dry at all and I did not reduce the flour a bit. I do recommenced chilling the dough after mixing for less messy scooping though. I also kept in the fridge while baking previous batches. The kids love them... thanks for posting. Oh yes someone mentioned the type of peanut butter might make a difference in how they turn out... I don't know if it does or not but I use Skippy natural creamy.

I've made these cookies for years and my grandmother before me. These are perfect if you follow the recipe correctly providing for differences in (oven thermostats and altitude of course.) If you want to try some of the additions and substitutions there's nothing wrong with that of course. That said these turn perfect as is. I do chill the dough before baking and keep in fridge in between batches. Other than that the only thing I ever change is the nuts. Sometimes I feel like some nuts sometimes I don't.

Pub Chops

I really don't get the comments about it not being flavorful but maybe that's because I altered the process a little. It's pretty automatic for me to caramelize my onions for a dish like this so that's what I did first after cooking the bacon. Next I browned the pork chops on one side. I added the garlic when I turned them. Now I made this with some thin pork chops that I happened to have on hand so by that time they were done and I pulled them. the only other change I made was using two pieces of bacon because 1 piece of the bacon I had did not make two tablespoons of grease. If you do something similar you should find it flavorful unless you find anything less flavorful than say buffalo wings bland. My only complaint (which I have often with recipes like this) is that I would've liked it to make a little more sauce. Not everyone likes things as saucy as I I'm sure. No problem next time I will double all the sauce ingredients! Thanks for sharing this we really enjoyed it. FYI it goes great with a beer.
