I confess I am a failure at making homemade bread. BUT from the first try at this one, I have been successful. I DID IT!! It would make my grandparents proud. Thanks for sharing Peg!
WOW! This recipe turned out to be very similar to one at Maccaroni Grill. I didn't have enough butter, so I tried margarine in small amounts. It made the consistency to runny, so I added cornstarch....turned out perfect. Also, I mixed everything together at the end. This is a keeper, thanks!
This one was an "OK" for me. The verde sauce was good, but the rest was "so so". I was expecting more. I tried the recipe as written and then I used flour tortillas. Maybe I'm too used to tex-mex.
Lower Cal Version: The crust is best with real butter of course, but replace sugar with splenda. For the filling, I used a tub and a half of light cool whip, low fat cream cheese, splenda and then topped with light cherry filling. People think I go to alot of trouble when I make this. Super easy and AWESOME!!!
Nailed it!!! This was SO good. We refuse to pay the buffet prices. We pair it with sweet and sour chicken, rice and egg rolls. We save $$ and still have restaurant quality. Thanks for sharing!!!
Follow the directions making sure you completely cover the crust with cream cheese mixture, and let the jello set a bit before pouring over top. I used about 3 cups of fresh strawberries.
I made these exactly by the recipe. I think I will add more peaches next time. Th muffins are ery moist and taste better a couple days later.
Easy for the beginner! I made cinnamon rolls for the first time and got rave reviews!!
Oh my...the sauce was da bomb!!! I used three chicken breasts and a pound of beef sausage. Needless to say I had alot of sauce leftover. This is a keeper recipe!!
This recipe was outstanding!! Instead of canned peaches I used fresh. I also used orange marmalade instead of OJ. Next time I will probably double it. We are hearty eaters.
