I like to cook as I like my food cooked well and can often do it better than most restaurants other than the ones that are expensive or doing something exotic.

I like to cook as it makes my wife feel special.

Simple - but really satisfying

Excellent! Lots of flavor. I used vegetable broth instead of the water/chicken bouillon. I also left it a little chunky while immersion blending. It's a keeper

Quick easy and super tasty. I didn't know how much I liked quinoa until i had this. Definite keeper

Awesome. I have made it a few times. The recipe is perfect just the way it is.

Better than store bought, customize it with your favorite spices.

Amazing - I couldn't believe how good it tasted. I had had a black-eyed pea salad at catered event and thought it was good so I was looking for a recipe to duplicate it and stumbled across this. This is even better. I didn't have any cilantro, so I omitted that and used a little cumin to add some flavor. We were fighting to see who got to take the left-overs in their lunch as we both could have just eaten a big plate of this for dinner. FWIW - I goes great with Grilled Okra.

We like okra most any it can be cooked, but hadn't tried it grilled. After trying it grilled, I would have to say it is now our new favorite way to prepare okra. It is outstanding and really easy. We didn't bother with the skewers. We just tossed them into a grilling basket and cooked them until they were good and brown.

I made the recipe exactly as described and they turned out great. My wife thought they were some of the best dinner rolls I have ever made. They taste great and have great texture. I will be be making them again.

Really easy and turned out great. Added some orange zest to them. Better than Starbucks.
