Meat came out really soft and fork tender. Sauce was really tasty too. There was alot of oil from the meat that was easy to drain off the top. Other than that this was a good tasty dinner.
This recipe overall was okay, I followed the recipe exact. The ginger didn't really please my husband he says it was overpowering but the loaf came out really moist. It also lacked to leave me satisfed with that comfort food feelng.
I couldn't believe how close this tasted to my favorite Viet/Thai restaurant. I added more vegetables and chicken and it came out soooo good. You can add pretty much anything to this soup and it will come out delicious. I thought that the recipe called for too much liquid so I cut back to 1 can coconut milk and 1 cup water but I was wrong...the soup is what makes this dish so good.
This recipe is so quck and easy we were so surprised how yummy it came out. Everytme we use ths recipe we try something different such as usng cream corn, heavy cream, sweet onons, maple flavored bacon, red potatoes...Delicious! This recipe will not disappoint
Like some other reviewers I used this recipe as a base and added to my own taste. Still came out yummy!
Wow! This was the best lasagna that I ever made. Making the sauce from scratch was well worth it. I made the sauce earlier and put everything together later that night. Followed the recipe to a tee except I left out the fennel seeds. Also took others advice and soaked the noodles in hot water. My husband ate 2 servings and then some. With the extra sauce I put it over the lasagna the next day for leftovers. Yummo!
Great dip! I followed the suggestion of several reviews and mixed 1/2 of the taco seasoning to the beans instead of the sour cream. I prefer my sour cream plain. Came out delicious~
Followed recipe but the cheese still was not melted smooth. Could be the brand of cheese I used. Anyway my husband made this on a couple of times and he loves it and kicks up the heat by adding more hot sauce.
Followed recipe except added 1 tbsp of chili powder...we like it a bit spicier. Based on all the reviews it seems like you can pretty much add what you like and use this as a good base recipe. The salsa does wonders to the chili. My husband loved it which is a great compliment since this was the first time I ever made chili from scratch.
Used this recipe for a bbq I didn't a chance to taste it but everyone else says is it was good. I'll need to try recipe again so I can try it. Based on my friends feedback I rated it 4 stars.
Loaf came out moist and overall it was good. For me I didn't care for the mustard though but everyone else liked it. I'm giving this recipe one more try. I like to use half ground chuck or sirloin and half hamburger that way not too much oil comes out of the loaf.
Just like the recipe says, this was a good basic chili recipe. You could really spice up the chili by adding your own touch to it. I added some mayo to make the sauce a little creamy and hot sauce to give a some kick.
