These tasted as good as my favorite aunt made, thank you for sharing. I can count on one hand the number of times I've made cookies from scratch. I had strawberry puree because they are in season, I tried another strawberry cookie recipe, it was ok, then I remembered Ricotta cookies. I put a few tblspns in instead of vanilla and used the puree with confectioners sugar for frosting. for a first try they were very good. I'm sure a real baker could make them better but I think it worked.
