I'm a stay at home mom so I have the time to really plan out my recipes and meals! It makes cooking so much more enjoyable!

Just made the meatballs but they came out great. I baked them at 350 for 15 minutes to get the fat off and then threw them in the sauce for 10 and boiled it together.

Super Soup! I used broth instead of beer, use a can of pinto beans and a can of black beans. Served w/ guacamole, sour cream and lime chips- delish!

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Yum! I did the quick version- apple pie filling over the chops instead of slicing apples. Quick, easy and delish! Added brown sugar and nuts at the end as recipe says. Will make again- chops get nice and moist!

Potato Latkes

Very nice. I liked these b/c they don't have that heavy taste and repeat on you afterward. I used refridgerated hash browns, already sliced up, so I didn't have to spend all that time slicing and then too much water was not an issue.

Awesome and unusual dish! I would triple the sauce recipe. Great dish for company. I will make again. Takes a bit of prep time, but marinading over night was worth it!

I used cut and bake sugar cookie mix with this but they spread out too much! But the taste was Yummy!

Very interesting. I'd triple the sauce. My husband loved it, I thought it was ok. But I will try again and see how I can improve it. The taste is very strong, which is good, b/c sometimes chicken can be a bit boring.

Gooey Butter Cake

This cake is just crazy! It's a gooey delicious mess- just as it says. I made it for my sis, after she had her wisdom teeth out b/c she couldn't chew. She loved it. First I made it w/ yellow cake- but then, we tried it w/ Strawberry Cake. Both ways are delicious. The second time I did bake it on 325 for the first 30 minutes, then upped it to 350 for the last 10 minutes or so. That helped the browning on top be more even. It's not the prettiest cake, but it sure is tasty!

Streusel Sweet Potatoes

This was good and different. I would have liked a more dense topping to counteract the mushy potatoes. Next time, I will leave the potatoes more lumpy and add some oatmeal perhaps to the topping!

Strawberry Pie

This was an interesting way to prepare and use strawberries in a dessert. You have to really love strawberries! I liked another person's opinions to put melted chocolate in the crust before pudding the strawberry mixture!

Honey Mustard Chicken

A really tasty honey mustard flavor. The ingredients blend together nicely. If you like honey mustard that has a more mature flavor vs. a dipping sauce flavor, this is the recipe for you!

Creamy Cajun Shrimp Pasta

A great dish! I reduced the cajon seasoning b/c I was weary of it being to spicy, but I added more when I tasted it. This was different and fun! Much better than grilled shrimp or a boring pasta dish! Unusual and tastey!!!
