Squash Relish
Colorful relish that's great with peas (purple hull peas are my favorite) and cornbread. It's perfect with hot dogs, or in any recipe that calls for pickle relish.
Cranberry-Walnut Broccoli Salad
This is a delightful and refreshing dish. It is better made a day ahead and you might as well go ahead and double the recipe if you are taking it to a potluck. It won't last long. Serves eight.
Chess Pie
This recipe was my grandmother's recipe. I always get compliments when I make this. It is an old recipe with simple ingredients. I love my grandmother's instructions which I typed exactly as she wrote them.
