I make banana bread a lot. I have never really found a recipe that I can say "this is the best I have ever tasted!!" I can now say I have found THE BANANA BREAD RECIPE. I made sure my banana were near black. I pureed them with my mixer. My ingredients were at room temperature. I made sure all my ingredients were well mixed like the recipe calls. I dont like a dome on my bread so I only grease the bottoms of my pans. This allows the bread to crawl up the sides. I let the bread sit about 5 min after cooking time and assuring it was done, then I took a knife and made sure the bread was loose from the sides of the pan. I let is completely cooled... Of course not before having several samples... Darn this was great banana bread and very easy to make.
I hate when people rate a recipe when they have changed the recipe even slightly. Try the recipe first to the letter, then rate it. If you try a recipe and change it, AND dont like it... DONT rate it... This was excellent. To thicken it I used cornstarch and water. Go slow though, you dont want it too thick!
Yum!!! I did what the recipe said to do - I hate it when people rate a recipe after doing "what they want to it first". Those negative reviews need to be cancelled. I want featured recipes that are easy and tasty. I have just recently found the multiple uses for italian dressing and that made this recipe great!!! The combination here was excellent.... I made sure not to use anything higher than 92% lean though for my burger tends to fall to pieces!!! Thanks for the submission and I hope others give this recipe a try just like it is!!! Then rate it!
I just made this again for my mother, following it exactly-once again it is fantastic. She asked me if I liked raisins and nuts in my bread....sure it would be good but I hate messing with perfection!!! MMMMM GOOD
LOVE IT!!! I cooked my bacon about 2 min or less...blotted the excess fat off then wrapped a few medium shrimp at a time, scewering the bacon and the shrimp at the same time. I then put the about three of these bundles together on one scewer. I placed them on the bbq and YUMMY!!! I used bbq sauce just at the end. The bacon gives the shrimp an amazing flavor!
Outstanding.. gets a five for ease and flavor. I took the advice from several reviews and used only a third of the soy sauce and two thirds worcheshire sauce. After about 4 hours and the meat fell apart so nicely, I took the liquid, added some water - enough for the amount of gravy I wanted and brought that to a boil. I mixed up some cornstarch and milk(can be water but I like creamier gravy) and poured it into the boiling drippings. Makes an incredible tasting gravy for potatoes, rice or noodles, and over the meat. My significant other told me dinner was very good 4 times before he left that night.
Very good! I added 1/2c buttermilk to this recipe - I love this texture of pancake. I used two relatively bananas.
Loved IT!!! AWESOME and easy! To complete the dinner I placed my chicken on potatoes, carrots and onions. I did put celery/onions/carrots in the cavity of the chicken! I used some basic seasoning salt as well. I don't believe in rating a recipe that I changed, however I knew it looked good as it was however I wanted a complete dinner! Easy Easy EASY!!
Excellent and super easy!! Next time I plan to use Capt. Morgans Spiced Rum and use some spices in the cake for a Spiced Rum Cake. This was a hit at the potluck. The rum flavor was very much there but not over powering like some Rum cakes can be. There is also a coconut flavored rum that I plan to try for a pina colada rum cake. I will use a touch of coconut extract in the cake for that one.
Freaking amazing - a hit at the potluck I went to. I use 6# of rubs cut into 3 bone sections, and just 1 1/2 my recipe. I did however use 1/3 cup Dale's Seasoning Sauce. It made the place smell sooo good while they cooked. I cooked them on high for 2 hours, then low for 3 hours as I needed them done in 6 hours instead of 8. The other hour was transit time and when I unplugged the wrong plug!!!! YUMMY
Perfect cookie! To the reviewer that gave these a 4 our of 5 star because she wanted a crispier cookier and less cake like... if you have followed the recipe like it said you might have gotten what you wanted. Brown sugar will make a cookie softer. Please dont rate a recipe if you change it up and dont like what you did to it.... These cookies are perfect just follow the recipe.
Without a doubt 5 stars... even the dough was wonderful and I dont eat raw cookie dough!!! To make even scoops I used the large pampered chef scoop with the easy action release. This one makes them about perfect large walnut size. I didnt even have to re-roll in my hands. YUMMMMMY
