So I just made the tea doubling the recipe to make a gallon. It's the best I have had since my grandmother stopped making sweet tea. Beautiful clear red color. I did make a few changes -- insted of the individual tea bags I used 2 gallon sized bags and only 8 cups cold water and ice to fill the rest of the way - no patientce to wait for it to chill in our house lol BTW dont forget the lemon wedge it is even better than I thought it could be
OMG this was so good. It made 6 very large servings, we are 4 and we ate it for dinner one nite and then we all ate it for lunch the next day too. This was a very simple recipe and we made it just as posted except the type of pasta - i was out of fettuccini noodles. We will be making this part of our regular monthly menu.
this was a great recipe and super simple the only thing different I did was topp it with marshmallows the last 5 minutes lol
ok this was easier than using the store bought packets lol I did double the flour and milk then added fresh ground pepper and a tablespoon or two of butter to finish it.
moist and fluffy muffins I doubled the recipe and these were great. I used 2 full 15oz cans of applesauce, 1/2 brown 1/2 white sugars and added 2 tsp baking powder. You need the baking powder for the rise. I used crasins and almonds since thats what I had in the house made these at 4am and they were gone by 8 am lol
very simple and very good
we do anther recpe similar to this one but it has cream cheese in the egg mixture. I was out of cream cheese and needed to make breakfast for a crowd so I tried this recipe and filled it with baby spinach, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, green onion and bacon. For cheese we used a combo of pepper jack and cheddar. It was amazing everyone said. ;-)
Great recipe I used splenda insted of the sugar andmy family is in love with it
These were awsome I used all butter like many said and substituted craisens for the raisins ( dont like raisins lol) the oatmeal i used was from trader joes and had rye, barley, oats, and wheat.
I was reading the reviews before I made this recipe and for everyone who said it was too runny typical Pear Jam is 3lbs of fruit to 5 cups of sugar so adjust accordingly. I am currently making now so I will rate after I am finished.
this was amazing. I ended up tripling the recipe because I have a 6qt ice cream maker. You do need to make sure the bacon is cooked crispy so it holds up in the ice cream without getting soggy. Also make sure to taste the cream base to make sure you get a good maple flavor. I ended up adding more syrup because I was using real maple syrup.
