love this recipe. personally I add the shrimp with the rest of the meats because I feel that the shrimp absorbs more of the flavors that way. second time I made it I added 2 tsp cayenne pepper. it adds a nice little bite, not overpowering. love it. once cooked, I like putting it in a 5 quart crock pot to keep warm especially if I am cooking for a big dinner like Thanksgiving or Christmas. this is a great addition to any meal it by itself
