Lindz

Currently I work as a baker after finishing a patisserie/baking culinary program in 2009, but I love cooking all types of foods.
I heard it said best on "The Next Food Network Star." I'm a high energy, somewhat neurotic perfectionist, and the way I love best to calm down and show my friends and family how much I care is to pour myself into my food. I adore cooking for people! It's one of my favorite things to do - though my budget sometimes suffers for it, because I try to only use the freshest, cleanest ingredients, and sometimes go a little overboard!

Cucumber Mango Salad with citrus vinaigrette

Really light and refreshing, this is great as a side for grilled chicken, and excellent with seared ahi tuna.

Easy California Fajita Salad with Roasted Pepper Dressing

For those hot summer days when you just don't feel like standing over a hot stove! Also great with the chicken served warm in tortillas for those men who swear "a salad won't fill me up!" See my "Roasted Red Bell Pepper" recipe for the dressing.

Roasted Red Bell Peppers

This super-easy ingredient can be added into sauces, soups, pastas...just about anything! It's a great way to use up the last of the heat from a bbq, too.

Grilled Cheese Paninis

A great recipe if you're tired of the same old sandwiches for lunch. I used my favorite bread, cheese and herbs in this recipe, but it's so easy to make it your own style!

An inexpensive, easy, and yummy way to make potatoes while grilling your favorite meats.

Grilled Garlic Bread

A great way to get some yummy bread to pair with a grilled steak or pork. Smokey, garlicy, and crispy!

Classic Lasagna

A real Italian lasagna with sausage, ricotta cheese, fresh herbs, and homemade sauce. Somewhat time consuming, but really easy! Can be made ahead of time and frozen, too.
