Needed more broth to cook noodles probably and actually have gravy. Great flavor!!
Good basic recipe, but I like sweet Southern slaw so added poppy seeds, replaced lemon juice with veggie oil, and added chopped onion. Perfection!
Great! Just like Granny's. To the person who said you don't add sugar...yes, you do. A little bit of sugar brings out all the other flavors.
I have been missing my favorite brand of pimento cheese (Palmetto Cheese) here in California. In fact, there's none here but a jar of Kraft, ugh. This recipe is fantastic, but I think maybe I'll add more mayo and less cream cheese so it doesn't stiffen so much in the fridge. DEElicious though!!!!!
Really good and even better with a little garlic and avocado chunks in it, too!
Yummy, but not sure why it's in the healthy section. We leave out the meats. Broths make beans great by themselves.
Good but not as good as the version I always heard about and made which includes shoepeg corn and black beans.
Yummy. This is a Baja fish taco, I'm assuming. Guess that's what it is because they are usually fried and sound similar. We eat them here in Central Cali, too. We like to use grilled fish though which is not traditional but more healthy. We also like a sauce that is not white but can't seem to replicate it. Thought it was chipotle something or other but now think maybe sriracha added to something. There's a tartar sauce flavor as well. The best in our opinion but can't seem to get restaurants to reveal. If anyone knows, let ME know. LOL.
