This was very good, but I think I would like a deeper chocolate flavor. The next time I make it I'm going to play with adding additional cocoa powder. Thanks for a great way to use up my garden zucchini!
This is a recipe that I go back to time and time again. It is a winner, no question about it. I always grill my shiskabobs on my stovetop grill and it works out beautifully. I've also tried this marinade on chicken and loved it. It's a heavy repeat in our meal rotation!
This recipe is a nice way to help use up the garden's bounty! I think the cookies benefit from the addition of cream cheese icing, which I did add and everyone loved.
My kids and I made this and just couldn't get past the taste of the wheat germ. It added a somewhat bitter aftertaste that we didn't care for.
I give these a 4-star rating as written, but they're a 5-star recipe (IMO) when made with sliced chicken breast in the sammie too. A keeper for sure.
This recipe was good, but I felt like it was missing something. I added toasted pecans to the top of my icing for added texture.
This was a good recipe, but I decided to add a basic oatmeal crumb topping which I thought really improved it. This is a great breakfast bread.
I used craisins instead of currants, and sprinkled in some vanilla - probably about 1 tsp. I also brushed the tops of the scones with an egg wash and then liberally topped them with raw sugar. I think it gives a much better crunch than white sugar. Thanks for a terrific base recipe! It's going to be lots of fun to play around with.
We loved these cookies! I used a bit more than 1/3 cup of jam - probably about 1/2 cup. And for the glaze I prefer to use half and half instead of water. Thanks for a great recipe!
I like this version of chicken salad, but I added some iceberg lettuce (for crunch), and instead of just plain chopped tomato, I used pico de gallo.
