This was fantastic! As per some previous reviews I added a sliced red bell pepper, bamboo shoots and I sliced some petite mushrooms into the mix. Add the pepper in shortly after the onions, the mushrooms with about 10 min left on the chicken and the bamboo shoots (drained) with about 5 min left on the chicken. Delicious!
Really Good! (4 1/2 stars). My wife was crazy about it and it was even better the second day as leftovers once the flavors settled. Depending on your taste, I'd add a bit more chorizo next time and some hot sauce. ps-this serving size will feed an army.
I've been searching for a really good Tzatziki recipe and this is it! My wife told me it was "like heaven in her mouth". Very very good.
a good cookie
as good as any guac recipe you'll find!
a good base recipe-i took some other reviewer's advice and added a ton of garlic, some diced portabella and petite white mushrooms (add after onion softens a bit but before the spinach), and I mixed the colby jack cheese on top with a small amount of pepperjack. Awesome!
This was a good recipe, but I was dismayed at the lack of veggies. Prior to putting the coconut milk in, I diced half an onion, 2 cloves garlic, 3/4 of a package of mushrooms I chopped and cooked them in the fish sauce (be careful with that stuff it's potent). Also added half a bag of bean sprouts and some canned bamboo shoots at the same time as the shrimp. Made the recipe much better. Without alterations-its a 3 star recipe, but it can very easily be 5 stars through a little creativity.
These cam out perfect! I recommend cutting the wedges small so they all are crisper rather than soggy. As per some previous recommendations, we added a clove of garlic, 1/2 and onion and some thyme in the skillet along with the rosemary. We also went with about 5 teaspoons of rosemary, but we love the stuff!
Tasty! We added nothing to the recipe and it came out perfect! It's taste is richer than you would expect, also we found that 7 minutes additional cooking after removal of chicken was just not necessary. It was more like 1 or 2 minutes and that left a perfectly thickened sauce. Any longer and you will burn your shrooms.
Good stuff but very rich. We have made it twice, the second time we cut the recipe ingredients in half and it still turned out great. I'd recommend it.
A perfectly fine recipe, just not much to set it apart from any other. Tasty and easy!
really good but you can definately cut back the # of shallots. I love 'em and it was still a bit strong. Maybe 3 or 4 would be better depending on the size. I also recommend chilling the dish at least an hour before serving-it lets the shallots mellow and the oil mix in. I also added some Italian spices, which was a nice addition.
