Made this yesterday for one of my husband's Treat Days at work. What a hit! Because some of the cooks had suggested reducing the Irish Cream, i used 3/4 cup and 1/4 cup 1/2 & 1/2. Totally unnecessary. Next time i will use the full cup. Other than that, it was amazing and i can only say that if you're not getting desired results, you might evaluate the quality of your ingredients.
HOW is it possible that this recipe shows up in the Low Carb category? This is NOT a low carb option and someone needs to pay better attention.
This is a terrific recipe, both as written and adjusted. I have been making it for years, literally, and you can change it up in so many ways (let your taste buds be your guide). It's quick and easy and you can dress it up as much as you like. Everybody doesn't like everything (some people don't like chocolate!) but it's more than worth trying !
Tremendous recipe exactly as written. Makes a fantastic corned beef sandwich. My husband asked me to make it again as buns so he could use one with a hamburger. Yes it's sticky but it works perfectly and is so delicious it's worth a few sticky fingers.
