I had so much fun making these. I did add various spices (garlic powder, salt, pepper, italian seasoning) into the cream cheese. I also put the cream cheese inside a plastic ziploc bag with a corner cut off to get the cheese inside the "bodies." Everyone loved them and thought they were so neat!
Absolutely easy, absolutely versatile and absolutely DELICIOUS! I added some thin tomato slices to the pesto/mozzarella recipe and loved it. I've also experimented using crumbled feta cheese and bruschetta spread instead of mozzarella and pesto, and I dusted the rolls with breadcrumbs. It's always well recieved and finished off no matter how I do it. I also used chicken breast fillets rather than just breasts since I thought it was easier to roll and made the portions more reasonable. Whether the recipe is followed just as written or whether it's experimented with, this recipe is SOOOO GOOOOOD!
Very easy and very flavorful! We found the tuna steak VERY filling. So much so that I couldn't eat much of my sidedishes. I liked the marinade a lot (especially with a bit saved on the side as a dipping sauce before being put in with the fish) but added a little bit of Lowry's marinade as well since I had a bit left in the fridge. Very good recipes. We'll make this one again soon.
We loved this! I baked it for about 45 minutes at 375 and it still turned out wonderful. I didn't have molasses but I followed the rest of the recipe just as it was. My boyfriend enjoyed it and I will definitely make it again. We had it with a side of long grain wild rice. Very satisfying.
