This was the first time I ever tried Quinoa and was surpisingly pleased with it. I also made a few changed to the recipe, using red choli pepper, coriander and fresh oregano since I didn't have any cumin on hand. I also only used one can of beans and substitued pinto beans. I had seconds and served it as a side dish however could definately be a main dish. It was flavored just perfect and can't wait for the left-overs tomorrow!
This recipe is so easy and the taste is awesome. I have brought this to numerous parties and it's always a hit!
I decided to try this recipe for our Christmas breakfast. I put everything together the night before so all I needed to do was put it in the oven. I was so incredible!!! Will definately be making this again. Might try bacon instead of sausage next time for a change.
My 9 year old and 11 year old made these. Very easy and super good! The first time we made them, we used softed margarine and it worked out perfectly. The second time I melted the margarine in the microwave and had to let the dough sit for about an hour before we could make the cookies as the dough was very sticky. I would recommend the first way. These were such a hit and we generally don't ever think of making gingerbread cookies. Yum!
So easy and the best part is that you can put your chicken breasts in frozen. I have added salsa and tequila for a twist. I also break up the breast about an hour before I serve it so everything gets soaked into the chicken.
