This has a wonderful taste and smell. I followed the directions exactly, but used chicken stock as others suggested as well as celery salt and thyme for seasoning. I plan to emersion blend before serving :)
This was great! I would recommend finely chopping the broccoli. I left mine a bit chunky and while it tasted good, I think I prefer a broccoli cheddar soup with smaller pieces. I will definitely make this again!
I used this recipe on tilapia. It was a good flavor. However, I don't recommend adding the lemon/orange juice prior to cooking the fish. Brown the fish first, then add the juices. This will keep you from over cooking the fish.
Very good soup. I added siracha as well. It was a little thinner than I expected but my husband liked the flavor so much he wants me to make this with a seafood medley of squid, mussels, scallops, and prawns. I think that would be great too!
The taste is great and I would make this again but maybe with less sugar. I wasn't thinking about the honey being a bonding agent and after adding the sugar thought the mix tasted plenty sweet for me so I didn't add any honey. This made it so my granola crumbled into musli. That's ok though its still good I'll probably just eat it with yogurt or as cereal
I will admit I was worried this would be too heavy but it was wonderful, tender, and perfect for some leftovers for lunch tomorrow. I followed the directions exactly but since I only made 2 bone in chops I cut the coook time in half. I added fresh sauteed mushrooms to my sauce and fat free half and half in place of milk. I topped the chop with fresh Italian parsley and served boiled potatoes and stir fried green beans with it. My husband and I were very happy :)
This was my first time using unflavored gelatin. The directions make it sound like you add the powdered gelatin straight into the whip cream. I did that and it was a terrible mistake. The gelatin clumped together and make the cream grainy. I had to throw it out. Dissolve the gelatin in hot water first, then add a teaspoon of that to the cream. This worked much better! Otherwise, everything else worked out great.
Can't really fault this, it was fresh and delicious exactly as written. I used Brazilian Bites, cheesy bread rolls, to go on the side. It was great!
I actually cooked mine in the slow cooker for 8 hours. I used all the ingredients in the recipe though and my whole house smelled amazing when I got home. After shredding (which only took some stirring with a spoon because it was so tender) I fried the meat with some olive oil. I also have a gas stove top and toasted my tortilla shells by putting them directly over the flame for about 10 seconds per side. I then topped my tacos with salsa verde, fresh pineapple, red onion, and cilantro and it was great! My husband said it tasted like something our favorite taco place would have. Will definitely make again!
This was pretty good, but seasoning was needed and wasnt mentioned in the recipe. I added crushed red pepper flakes, extra lime juice, salt, and pepper. I like black beans, but I'm not sure they added much to the flavor of this dish. If I make it again, I think I'll leave the beans out and replace them with a bell pepper and cherry tomatoes. I used this recipe as a side dish to grilled jerk chicken and the following day ate it with chips. Both ways were pretty good.
This wasn't terrible, but it wasn't my favorite. The peanut butter was very overpowering. If you really like peanut butter, you may like this more than I did.
Yum. I'm giving 4 stars because I didn't like the recipe as much the way it's written. I followed another reviewer's suggestion of using 1 cup of sugar and vanilla Greek yogurt. I also zested a lemon in place of the lemon extract and it was wonderful. My whole house smelled of warm lemony goodness. I also don't recommend banning for a whole hour. Mine was ready to come out of the oven at 50 min.
