Loved the recipe- did not take the 1 hr 40 min to make. I rushed the simmering steps and completed the process in about 30 min. I also substituted canned tomatoes, but used fresh roasted red peppers, I also added brown sugar and extra red pepper- it had a great kick!
Love this dressing!! I do use a little less oil and add about 1T of sugar.
Loved this recipe! I was short on time and just threw in the corn and edamame frozen which thawed by the time I ate it and it was great. I also added frozen petite peas which added a hint of sweetness- great lunch!!
I make this type of crepe quite frequently. I actually use it as a manicotti shell and fill with ricotta, moz, parm cheese filling. Place in a pan with pasta sauce to coat the bottom, then pour remaining sauce on top. Add additional parm chz or moz chz and your guests will love the "homemade" pasta that you created!!
