Fantastic! I had trouble frosting my bars so I added another tablespoon of cherry juice to make more of a thick glaze. I will be making these over & over again - thank you for this wonderful recipe!!
Great alternative to making Spanish Tortilla. I have an authentic tortilla recipe, it takes me hours & tons of dishes & always egg & potato mess everywhere by the time I am done. This is so much easier & my family loves it as much as the authentic recipe from my Spanish friend (don't tell his mother). This recipe is great for dinner, lunch, breakfast & to freeze & eat whenever!
Made as directed. Very sweet & hard to remove from pan, even a day after in the fridge. I made them for a grad party but decided against taking them as they were in terrible shape once I got them out. The chocolate on top cracks & the peanut butter mixture on the bottom isn't solid so between the two, it just didn't work for me.
This was a huge hit with my family! I used twisty pasta & it worked great, all other ingredients the same. It is a great alternative to lasagna, which no one in my fam but myself like, this is a perfect compromise!
This is my new go to recipe! SO easy & tastes incredible! I've made it with raspberries & blueberries so far but any berry should work!
This is a totally unique cake! It cooks very nicely in cast iron. I lowered the temp as suggested with about 20 min to go & it was done exactly at 55 min. I love the poppy seeds, they add a neat texture. The cake is quite dense and great with a cup of coffee for breakfast. I made with a mix of red & black raspberries with some blueberries tossed in. This recipe would be great with any berries or even some cherries!
