Great recipe! the cayenne pepper does add quite a kick, so i'll probably cut it down to 1/2 a tsp, just for personal tastes. and i also did the topping 1/4 c cheese and 1/4c bread crumbs. and it was fantastic!
Enjoyed! Loved the lemoniness. Was a light, easy meal. Next time, I'm going to add more broccoli!
Excellent! Even tho i was expecting a creamy Macaroni dish, this was not a disappointment. The spices make the dish delicious- I wanted a little kick so I added some cayenne pepper and cumin. yummy!
Delicious! Didn't change a thing. I did have more shells and filling than could fit into a 9x13, but just put it in the fridge to make another day.
Love! didn't change a thing (ingredients wise!). Love making the sauce from scratch. I did use cottage cheese- i just put it in the blender to make it a smoother consistency. However, I didn't notice a huge difference from ricotta- even tho it has been awhile since i've had lasagna. I also might try crushing up fresh tomatoes next time. per other reviewers suggestions, I just let the dry noodles soak in some water while the sause cooked, and that definitely made them easier to work with.
Not bad. I loved all the veggies! However, I think if i made it again, I'd have to up the spices or find something else to add, as it seemed a little bland for me. and, it made A LOT! I didn't realize how much it made until i was practically done, and as i didn't have a pot big enough, had to divide it b/t two pans!
I found it to be a little greasy from the sauted veggies. I would recommend not sauteing the veggies in oil. I would have also added more barley.
Best chicken pot pie i've ever eaten! rivals restaurant pies. The only thing I will do differently next time is to prebake the bottom crust for a bit before added the filling, as it was a little soggy- but didn't detract from the deliciousness!
holy these are good! I followed the suggestions of others: used honey instead of corn syrup, used 2/3 of everything instead of 1/2, added some cinnamon, used my hands... didn't have crunchy peanut butter, so used smooth instead. Next time i'll add some flax seed and m&ms!
This was turned out better than i thought it would. to combat a runny-ness, did as another reviewer suggested and put the cheese in with 1/2 c of chicken broth and let it cook down for a bit, THEN i added the sour cream. perfect! do wish i had had some chicken to add...
