I'm a legal studies student at George Mason University. I live with my lovely sister (who is studying culinary arts) and I enjoy fishing, raiding the local library and Barnes & Noble, and having long, ridiculous conversations with my friends. I am currently studying Latin, gradually losing weight and becoming a healthier individual, and brushing up on my American history. Yay. :)

Delicious! This is my favorite type of sandwich. I wasn't able to find it in restaurants down here in VA like I was in WI, but I tried this homemade recipe and it's perfect!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Best. Salsa. Ever. I received nothing but enormous praise after fixing this and serving it to a group of my girlfriends. With a bit of tweaking, this is perfect for the cinnamon chips, ice cream, cheese cake, and even added into a nice cold glass of sangria.

Tasty! I omit the cream cheese just because I hate working with cream cheese (I like the taste, but both the texture and the smell irritate me). Just as tasty!

Delicious! I took other's suggestions to add more veggies and spices, and it was perfect.

Easy Decadent Truffles

An excellent recipe! I bought candy melts from Michael's and used them to dip the truffles in or drip on top. The recipe yields a lot of truffles, which makes it perfect for gift-giving.

Delicious! I added two large onions and it was perfect. I also used the peppercorn seasoning that came with the corned beef. It was great (but not as great as my mom's, of course). :D

These were pretty good. My boyfriend loved them. I didn't have any vanilla extract so I used a little less than a tsp. of wildflower honey instead, and it tasted great. Next time I will go with vanilla, and add a layer of sour cream on top. Yum!

Light, but very satisfying. I followed this recipe, but used three cloves of garlic instead of one. Next time I will add mushrooms, or perhaps green onions.

Sweet Potato Enchiladas

Great! I used flour tortillas because I hate corn tortillas. Next time I'll omit the enchilada sauce and either use green sauce or just extra cheese. I also might toast them in a frying pan rather than bake them, and then melt cheese on top so that they'll be crispy. The filling is truly fantastic, though. I tripled the amount of spice the recipe called for and it was anything but bland.

Fettuccine with Sweet Pepper-Cayenne Sauce

Very delicious and easy to make! I like spicy food, so I actually put in more cayenne pepper than the recipe called for and it's great. I also had one sad little uncooked chicken breast sitting in the fridge, so I cubed it and cooked it with the peppers.

Really great! Next time I will definitely add more bacon, as some other reviewers suggested. I took another reviewer's advice and cooked the sauce for a lot longer than the recipe calls for, and it was perfect.
