This salad is good with my additional changes. I cooked the sliced chicken on the store top with diced onion and minced garlic. When the chicken was almost done I added 1-14oz.can diced tomatos along with the toco mix. I also added 1/2 package frozen corn--heated through and dressed it with toppings. I served it on crispy romaine----yumie !!!!
I sauteed diced onion and garlic first--added 1 cup sliced mushrooms--cooked a smig. Add chicken pieces and cook till almost done. Remove chicken--keep warm. Add rest of sauce ingredients plus 1/3 cup white wine-- return chicken to skillet--heat to warm and chicken is done.
You can also add some super fine onion and garlic for added flavor--a KEEPER
A good basic idea----Double the sauce--add sliced onions and finely chopped garlic + more soy and ginger+ the zest of the orange.Maybe some Chinese 5 spice and rice noodles on top--DO NOT over cook the chicken--
The basic idea is good----just brown the ground beef--lean-drain if necessary, add the onions and a couple very small diced garlic cloves--or to your taste.Add 3 Tablespoons or so--eye ball it--ketchup, 2 Tabs. of worcestershire sauce,1 can of your choice cr of mushroom soup and 1 1/2 cups of sour cream.... heat all and serve over pasta of choice... yumie !!!!!
A basic idea----but try fresh garlic ,fine diced, sliced onions, 2 Tab. of ketchup, 2 Tab of worcestershire sauce, plus the cr. of mushroom soup, 1/4 cup or so of red wine and 1 cup of sour cream...DO NOT boil after you add the sour cream++s&p..now it's yummie
This is to DANCERDEDE---never almond extract----adjust the lemon, etc...toast almonds...do not ruin a decent idea..
Try adding some mushrooms with the dry onion soup mix, which you mix with the beef broth and 1 cup red wine...also garlic and sliced onions with the soup mix...and good fresh ground black pepper.
