I made this salad for friends from work. I made individuals salads instead of one large salad. The salads were beautiful and the combination of flavors was wonderful. When I tasted the dressing by itself, I wasn't impressed, but when added to the salad it was very good! I would definitly make this again. I used Dole "Spring Mix" --it gave it a nice combination of color and texture. I also used canned oranges. The salad was very easy to make.
This salad was delicious! I will definitely make it again. I modified it a little by adding 1 cup of mayo instead of ½ cup of mayo and ½ cup of Miracle Whip (I’m not a fan of Miracle Whip), I excluded the red grapes and put only one cup of dried cranberries in it. I used a rotisserie chicken for ease. I love recipes like this – very flavorful and looks great too!
This frosting was so easy and tasted great! I especially liked it because I always have these ingredients on hand. I make brownies from a box frequently and like to put frosting on them. This will be the one I'll use from now on. It was perfect for a 9 X 13 pan of brownies.
I didn't find these wings as good as the other reviewers. I was hoping for something more flavorful and "stickier" since that was how the recipe was described. They were too putzy too: first you have to marinade for a period of time, then bake with foil, then turn, then without foil, then on a rack, turning again. They weren't worth all the effort.
I'm always on the look out for a new and better lasagne recipe and now I think my search is done! Thank you! The sauce is great as a spaghetti sauce too.
I've made this twice and we loved it! I couldn't find chili paste, so substituted the same amount of Thai style chili sauce. I couldn’t find soba noodles, so substituted the same amount of lo mein noodles. I used “less sodium” soy sauce and cut the amount in half (1/4 cup). I prefer it without the chicken so will make it that way from now on. Thank you for introducing me to new flavors!
After the rave reviews on how good these were I had to try them. However I was disappointed. I stuffed half of the dates with blue cheese and half with almonds. We really couldn't taste the blue cheese. Couldn't really taste the date. I didn't find the need to secure them with a toothpick. Bacon at room temp wraps nicely around the date. I placed the appetizers on a cooling rack inside of a jelly roll pan for even baking. The oven got smoky so I covered them loosely with aluminum foil. Everyone liked them, but I wouldn't make them again.
