A delicious use for dead ripe tomatoes, this simple blenderized gazpacho does not rely on tomato juice, as too many do. This is very flexible; use more or less of whatever you like. This is a mash up of what looked good in several recipes I found on the web and in cookbooks.

Norwegian Crown
These soft, dense, bright yellow cookies were a family tradition at Christmas. My mother had the recipe in a little booklet that was a gas station give-away (remember Dino the Dinosaur? was it Sunoco stations?). The torn old paper crumbled years ago. These cookies were a well-remembered mystery, which I longed for. My sister found these somewhere (go Ams). They match my recollection perfectly. I think the name refers to Norwegian currency, the krone, and these look like puffy golden coins.
