Chicken Breasts Pierre

I followed the suggestions of many of your reviewers: Used chicken broth instead of water; wine, instead of vinegar; diced tomatoes, instead of stewed. I omitted the flour, to make it gluten-free. I think next time I'll omit the hot pepper. Overall, I thought it a very good recipe.

I would really call this a 4-. It tasted good, and I'll definitely make it again. I think I'll experiment with it a little, but it's definitely good just as it is. A little more tomato soup to make it a tad juicier might be good.

I made no changes, and they turned out great. Better than our local IHOP.

Definitely too salty. Needs sauce, which is not mentioned. I won't make it again. Oops, they do mention marinara sauce as an option. For this recipe, it's a "must have."

I used Colby/jack, since I didn’t have cheddar. Tastes good and turned out smooth. I would use a whisk for the whole process, instead of switching to a wooden spoon. I used it on Brussels sprouts. Next time, I’m going to sauté some garlic in the butter before adding flour.

I guess I would call this a "3+" since I thought they were good. I think I made them too large, which made them a little doughey. The video was a help.

Very tasty. I used Kroger's Italian stewed tomatoes, which I think really added to the great taste.

It tastes good, just the. Right amount of spiciness for me. But it's a bit watery.

I made this according to the recipe, and it was just so-so. I won’t make that again, but I will try a few of the other reviewers suggestions, such as adding sausage, using spaetzle noodles, maybe caraway seeds.

Quick and Crispy Home Fries

These were good, and they turned out just as the recipe said--crispy on the outside, soft inside. But how do you stop them from turning black?! Definitely don't like cutting all the black off before cooking. Also, a "pinch" of onion powder and one of garlic powder wasn't enough, to my taste. Maybe I don't know how much a "pinch really is! Maybe I could microwave without peeling, put in frig to cool, then peel right before cooking. This recipe definitely needs some work before it becomes an "old standby."

This may not qualify as a "real" review of the recipe, since I used it as a way to use up some left-over chuck roast I had. For the sauce, I used the liquid from the roast, along with one cup of beef bouillon. Other than that, I prepared the recipe as written, and it was tasty. I think fresh mushrooms would have been better.

Really good pickled eggs. I made it just as written, with the exception of adding some mild banana pepper rings to the jar.
