I made this exactly as the recipe stated and it was delicious. Husband and kids asked me to make more the next day! The best part was there was not any leftovers to store! The entire dish was gone after one meal with a family of 4.

This recipe is AMAZING!!! The only things I did different was used minced garlic from a jar, boiled my tomatoes with my chilies, did not strain (I like thick salsa), and cooked the meat in a crock pot for 8 hours on low. I shredded the meat after and poured juice over it. Now it is ready to be put into tacos with cilantro and onions. Fixed side of beans and steamed zucchini and squash to go with it. So good! Definitely the new family favorite. I was worried about it being too spicy, but it is perfect.

This is so good. I did make a few changes. First I boiled about 4 cups of water with a cinnamon stick. I mixed this with my rice in the container I planned on putting it in. I let this sit overnightI used Hispanic condensed milk instead of evaporated milk and sugar. (Made sense to save a step.)

This recipe is perfect as is. The only thing I changed was to only marinade it 1 hour, then continued to follow the rest. Since I come from a Hispanic family we ate the chicken with beans, salsa, crema, and a side salad. It was amazing the entire family loved it. Can not wait to make it again!
