Easy Slow Cooker Meatballs

This was simple to make & very tasty; my husband loved the meatballs & sauce! The next time I make it, I do think I will add salt, parmesan cheese & some red pepper flakes to the meatballs to give them a little more flavor. Some people may find them to be a little too bland by themselves. Slow cooking in the sauce & tomato mixture all day does help to give them their flavor. All in all, a solid recipe & I will definitely make again.

This is a great jambalaya recipe. My husband and I both loved it. The recipe as written is very spicy though. If you love spicy it's great but if not, I'd definitely reduce the amount of cayenne pepper added. The Andouille sausage & creole seasoning (I used Tony Chachere's and even though I used the non-spicy version, it still has a kick) already have some spiciness on their own without adding additional cayenne pepper. I used only a 1/4 of a teaspoon cayenne pepper instead of 1 whole teaspoon like the recipes calls for and it was plenty spicy for us. Otherwise, good, rich flavor & the consistency was great. I served over brown rice.

Quick, simple and tasty. Good weeknight recipe. I doubled the amount of sauce like many of the other reviewers suggested. I also used fresh ginger instead of ground. I mixed it all together with brown rice-glass noodles and stir fry vegetables.

Authentic Louisiana Red Beans and Rice

Very good. I cut the amount of cayenne pepper; I used 1/4tsp instead of the amount the recipe called for. As written it would be too spicy for our family. I used turkey andouille sausage instead of pork & brown rice instead of white. My husband said in terms of flavor, he couldn't tell a difference so that helped to make it healthier. I made a sweet jalapeño cornbread to go with it. I will definitely make this one again!

Cool and Light Pasta and Herbs

This was good. I would probably make this without the pasta next time if I were to make it as a side dish again. With the pasta, its more of a vegetarian meal. You could also add chicken or shrimp to make it a main dish. I think next time I will make more of a dressing to go with it - probably a mixture of lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper and maybe some minced garlic. Tasty!

This was good, I will make again. Like many of the other reviewers suggested, next time I won't brown the chicken. I used a low sodium soy sauce but both my husband and I thought the sauce was bordering on being too salty so I may reduce the amount of soy the next time I make it.

So yummy! I've made it with different veggies; asparagus, mushrooms, etc depending what I have on hand. I followed the recipe exactly but I had enough filling for two pre-made pie crusts. Maybe I accidentally got smaller pie shells but luckily they came two to a pack so I just made them both & popped the extra in the fridge for breakfasts that week.
