Novice cook who doesn't spend a lot of time in the kitchen. I'm not a great cook. There - I said it! But I do like to experiment and I somehow manage to come up with some good dishes. If you try a recipe of mine, I hope you enjoy it.

If I were to make this again, I would nix the potatoes. They took too long to cook. I doubled the amount of sauce (I used jar pasta sauce), and I also put a bit of soy sauce in with the ground beef for a little more zip.

The rice to chicken ratio is way off. I made this recipe with 16 oz of chicken breast and still had way too much rice vs. chicken.

Simple and delicious, two of my favorite combos for recipes! They're made even better with an added teaspoon of cinnamon.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but after following the recipe exactly I ended up with a bowl of what looked like crumbs. Nothing to roll out. The flavor just wasn't there - but admittedly my whole wheat flour may be a bit old.

Two-Ingredient Pizza Dough

I make pizza often, and I was intrigued by this recipe using yogurt. The taste wasn't bad - especially if you like a sour dough pizza crust flavor. But I had a hard time working with this dough. It took more flour to get it a useable form. But even then it was not malleable enough to get it into the pan without tearing holes in it. I do much better handling traditional yeast pizza dough, and I think that's what I'll be sticking to.

The only bad thing I can say about this recipe is that you need to double immediately! They are gone in a flash otherwise. These might even be better than regular snickerdoodles.
