Really good! I let the kids help me and they felt like they had just made a real cake! I used a 16 oz. jar of chocolate fudge sauce and I think that next time I will use even more. I think that sugared pecans would be great on top and if you add a banana this would taste similar to a banana split. Very good, thank you!
This is more of a salsa. I cut the recipe in half and I'm glad I did, it would have been way too much for our crowd of 5. It's good. Thanks.
The description is correct "the perfect cole slaw taste" Thank you!
Very good! I used 2 oz's seasoning and half the jar of peppers and I thought it was just right. Thanks for a good recipe.
EXCELLENT! I didn't have ranch mix on hand so I substituted with an envelope of dry onion soup mix. Very tender and hubby loved it.
My daughter has gestational diabeties so I tried this recipe using splenda and it exceeded my expectations for a sugar free cake. I am looking forward to the next time I make this using regular white sugar after the baby is born. Thanks for sharing your mom's recipe!
this recipe is the same as my old recipe with the exception of lard in place of shortening. Shortening has trans fat which is what I am trying to avoid. This recipe is so wonderful and superior to shortening or oil made crusts. It is exactly like the pie crusts my mother and all the ladies of "back then" used to make. Thank you!
I made 4 times the amount in the recipe and it was gone by the end of the afternoon. The kids loved it as well as the adults. I used ground cinnamon and cloves, and added an extra quarter cup of syrup. I was out of cheese cloth so I just let the peel float for awhile and it delicious! I am looking forward to having this on Thanksgiving.
These are quite tasty! I used olive oil instead of vegetable and I used 12 grain bread which made these healthy and delicious. Thanks for your recipe!
Delicious!
This was the BEST turkey I have ever made, or tasted. I baked my turkey in a brown paper grocery bag ( a first for me, it's fantastic) and it was so tender and juicy you almost didn't even have to chew it! It made tons of stock, so I had enough stock to make a huge batch of gravy. The gravy was so good that one of my guests jokingly asked me if I had a straw so he could drink it! When my guests took the first bite of turkey I heard a lot of ooh's and ah's. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe, I will always make my turkey this way.
Great flavor and very pretty. Thanks!
