This recipe was my inspiration for our todays meal after work. I used evaporated milk (some more than suggested) and let it cook down well. I also added diced ham (to the well browned zucchini) and cheese (to melt into the sauce). The sauce became very nicely rich and creamy in the way of italian panna. Without this recipe todays dinner would have been quite another thing - thanks a lot!
This was terrific! I had to make some changes, because I did not have bamboo shoots, spinach and cabbage at hand. I used broccoli, red and yellow bellpepper and babycorn instead. Kind of a difference, but it worked. Next time I will try the spinach-cabbage-bamboo-combination because I think it is going to be more special. The baby-corn I'll use anyway because my husband likes them so much. I had to add a little soy sauce to taste, but this of course depends on the kind you are using.
A very nice recipe for a sandwich! I did make some changes though: Omitted dill (because I don't like it) and substituted mango chutney for sweet pickle relish (which I didn't have in my pantry). Because of the chutney I essened the amount of curry powder. Added some sambal oelek to the salad and lettuce and shredded carrots to the sandwich to make it more fresh. Had a very flavourful lunch!
This was delicious. I made it with korean style spicy beef and some stir fry vegetables. Worked very fine and husband loved it.
