Loved this cake. I made it for a brunch recently and everyone thought it tasted great. I think though that next time I'll cut back on the sugar and oil and substitute with the applesauce. I didn't have any on hand this time.
Very easy recipe! Great flavor. Buy a good pasta sauce with lots of spices. Most pasta jars are 24 oz. I bought two jars and used a small portion of the 2nd one to make 26 oz. Makes a lot of food if you have a small family. Great for left overs!
I made mini muffins with this recipe and they turned out great! Baked at 350 degrees for about 16-17 minutes. I also used canola oil instead of vegetable oil to make them healthier. I thought the muffins tasted great, but my husband and son thought they needed more sugar. Perhaps I'll add more next time.
I made this last night for dinner and thought it tasted really great! I didn't used the 1/2 cup of margarine. It didn't need it at all to make the white sauce. I also added 3 garlic cloves instead of one. I think next time I make it - I may add some pine nuts and mix in a little asiago cheese.
This was a very good and easy recipe. I used grnd turkey instead of beef and doubled it. My husband ate two sandwiches and I ate one - then I had a little for leftovers. When doubling - there didn't seem to be enough liquid to simmer so I added more water and more ketchup. I also added a bit more spices (didn't measure). My husband thought it was great!
Loved it!! The only changes I made were using large, Italian croutons instead of stuffing (it's all I had) and added additional garlic. I'd definitely make this again.
Just made these for a mom's holiday brunch. They looked really pretty on the plate and tasted good too. Only thing I'd do differently next time is to poke deeper holes in the cupcakes. It was my first time making a poke cake and I didn't poke deep enough with the fork. All in all - I'd make again.
Made this with chicken sausage that had portobello mushrooms in it. I served it on a bed of white jasmine rice. It turned out great! My hubby really liked it.
My family and I really enjoyed this recipe. I forgot to by provolone so used a mixture of part skim mozerella and asiago cheese. I also added 3 cloves of garlic since the recipe didn't call for any. It turned out wonderful!! Will make again!!
I don't know if I did something wrong, but I made this recipe twice in a row (for the same dinner) and the dough was dry and wouldn't stretch out over my pizza pan. I mixed the dough with a fork and then by hand, since it didn't say to use a mixer.
This recipe is awesome and so easy!! I didn't have any corn chips to serve with it, so I made cornbread. I substitued chili beans for white beans since that's all I had. Turned out great. will make again.
This soup was awesome!! My hubby and kids loved it too. I used yams instead of sweet potatoes and also added chopped red pepper (just because I had it). I also added a little bit of pasta at then end. I did add an extra cup of broth because I knew I'd be adding the pasta. Will definitely make this again!
