This bread was too sweet and sunk in the middle. It had a decent flavor.
I loved it! If I made it again, I may add in a little of the peach juice or a little more milk.
These are yummy! I really like the banana flavor combined with the chocolate and walnuts. I made a few changes to the original recipe, though. I decreased the brown sugar to 1/2 cup and they were still plenty sweet for our tastes. I also used white while wheat flour in place of 1/2 cup of the flour.
Delicious! Easy to make and my five year old loves to help.
Yum. I reduced the brown sugar to 1/2 cup. Next time I will check them at 15 minutes because baking them for 20 over cooked them.
Quick, easy, and delicious! Goes well with a fallow of whipped cream. We're glad we used large mugs. We found that it made large cakes and we couldn't eat them all. We'll be making half batches in the future. This is a keeper!
Love it! I used white whole wheat for the wheat flour and reduced the sugar to 1/2 c. That was plenty of sugar! I also shredded the pear rather than chopping it. That made the texture more appealing to my kids.
Delicious! Super easy and gets compliments. Makes a great gift.
Delicious and easy! I replaced 3/4 cup of the all-purpose flour with white whole wheat flour, reduced the baking powder to 3 tsp. because I live at a high altitude, and sprinkled the egg wash on top with sanding sugar. We added blackberries to some of the dough, too. I’ve been struggling to find a good scone recipe, but this is it!
Delicious! I added 1/3 cup chopped cooked spinach and omitted the mushrooms. I used Simply Ragu for the sauce.
