I doubled the tomatoes and it turned out to be the best chili I've ever had. I will eat no other chili but this from now on.
Was so good, as I expected it to be. While the bacon, onions and garlic were cooking I tossed the cut up cabbage in a splash of apple cider vinegar, a dash of hot sauce and a sprinkle of sugar. I cooked the cabbage a little longer until all excess liquid had absorbed/evaporated. Even though I made steak and roasted potatoes with it, the cabbage was cleaned from our plates before we touched anything else.
This was so much better than anything I've ever had in a restaurant! I followed directions exactly except for the milk... I just added the milk slowly while stirring the rest of the ingredients until the batter seemed to have the the right consistency. Will make this again and again and again.
I made this for a second time last night, doubled everything but the linguine and shrimp. I added a small sweet onion (which was caramelized when I cooked the garlic,) capers, and cherry tomatoes (in the last few minutes of simmering). It looks and tastes like it took way more effort than it did and everyone loves it!
This was almost TOO good... I wasn't prepared for all the flavor that comes with it. There were several ingredients in it that my boyfriend doesn't like but I love (mainly the Bleu cheese) but I made it exactly as directed anyway. I waited for a comment after I gave it to him and in minutes his plate was cleared and he told me anytime I make steak in the future I should make it exactly like this. Fine by me!!
This was superb. Anytime I made my own version in the past something was missing, and I believe it was the sugar. That really helps to balance out the acidity of the tomatoes and vinegar. I used balsamic and added some freshly minced garlic to mine. Favorite salad ever!
I made it exactly except I added some chili, garlic, and sriracha to the sauce and mixed it ahead of time. I deep fried the pieces then transferred them to a wok with the sauce simmering in it then swished it around for a few minutes. The batter was very sticky and I was worried about how it would turn out but it was perfect. My boyfriend said it was the best he ever had.
This was great and really easy to make. I added some garlic powder, pepper, and chipotle seasoning to it, gives it a nice kick without overpowering the other flavors. We had seconds and thirds of this!
This was so much easier than I anticipated. The only issue for me was, I only had a brick of white cheddar on hand (though goat cheese sounds delicious as well!) and I cut it up into tiny cubes. I put a slice of bacon inside each piece of chicken breast and wrapped the outside with another. I couldn't believe that the chicken maintained its shape and that it wasn't a huge gooey mess when all was said and done! Yum!
I added minced garlic to the the yeast mixture once it became foamy and slowly added the flour. When it was time to transfer it into bread pans I brushed each loaf with some ghee and sprinkled the top with garlic granules. This bread is especially delicious when toasted. Will make again and again'!
Love it! Super easy. Only thing I did differently was omit the water and double the tomatoes to make a nice sauce over some linguine. Will make again!
