Excellent. Only thing I did different was add some raisins and pecans.
Excellent! Cut the sherry down to 1/2 cup, and added more beef broth to compensate. Used fresh baby portobellos. Ran out of cornstarch so used flour to thicken gravy. Didn't change anything else. Will definitely cook this one again. Served w/spinach and mashed sweet potato w/diced jalepenos.
Excellent! Used skinless thighs - came out perfect. Moist, tasty. Dumped the marinade into the pan to cook w/the chicken. I think this receipe would also be good as a kebab marinade. Going to try it this summer - too hot to use the oven now.
Very good. Halved the chicken, zucchini & tomato so it could fit in "toaster" oven I have in an 8 x 8 glass dish - made this on my porch so I didn't heat up the house w/the regular oven. Didn't use near as much cheese - just sprinkled some moz & a little parmesan over the zucchini so there was a nice bit, but not heavy. Added onion and roasted red pepper to the garlic & zuc when I sauteed them. Used Italian breadcrumbs. Didn't sprinkle cheese on top. Was very very good! Served w/cous cous
Excellent! Used beef round instead of chuck. Used a bit more carrot and celery. Used 2 tsp dried thyme. Used leeks instead of onion. Used 1 pot only - did bacon, removed. Did beef removed. Did leeks/garlic, then added everything else back in. Put about 6 TBS flour and 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper in ziplock bag and shook meat in it to coat, then browned. Took about 1.5 hrs to cook or less covered (used cast iron dutch oven), then uncovered for the 15-20 min. It is one of our favorites!
Used 1 cup white and 1 cup whole wheat flour. Did not use nuts. Used 1 cup semi-sweet choc. chips instead. Did not have brown bananas, mine were just starting to have brown spots, but still was great. 2 large bananas = 1 cut mashed. Did not do icing don't like super sweet stuff. Do not over-mix when adding dry ingredients (I added the dry stuff in about 3 increments, not all at once). Baked 12 minutes at 350. Best cookies ever! These are my favorites cookies now.
Excellent! My husband loved this. I doubled everything but the chicken breast. Breasts I had came 3/package. I sliced them into 6 thin pieces. Used italian breadcrumbs w/the cheese to coat the chix. Dipped them in egg w/a bit of s&p and italian seasoning & milk before coating. Browned them. Steamed 10 oz fresh spinach to use. Added pinch cayenne. Used same cast iron deep pan to steam spinach (then set aside), brown chix and put everything in oven. (Used other saucepan to make sauce - flour/milk doesn't work in cast iron.) added approx 2 clove garlic to onions and 1 pkge fresh baby bella mushrooms and then sauteed. Added about 1/4+ cup peppers instead of tablespoons. Used more onion than called for too.
Excellent - used 1/2 cup water. Used milk instead of cream. Used a mix of strawberries and blueberries.
Excellent! Used more flour (maybe 1/4 cup), added salt & pepper. Put in ziplock bag, put in one pork chop at a time, shake to coat. Added a bit of cornstarch at the end to thicken the sauce to a gravy. Used beef stock instead of bullion
cut the recipe by 2/3. Was only making it for 2 people. Was excellent. Used whole wheat elbow macaroni. Didn't have poblano peppers, used all jalepeno. We like spicy food those this was good. Love it not having a ton of mayo.
used 4 pieces bacon. used cooked leftover chicken about 2.25 cups. Cooked bacon, removed, then sauteed leek 2 cloves garlic and celery. Added broth and used wild rice mix. When rice 1/2 cooked (20 minutes) added carrots, cabbage and corn. cut flour down by 1/2. cut butter to 1/2 stick (did 1/2 butter and 1/2 margerine). Used 1 cup 2% milk. Didn't have poultry seasoning. Used salt, black pepper (upped black pepper to 1/4 tsp), thyme, paprika and a pinch cayenne. Delicious!
