Delicious! This photo doesn't do it justice! Was so tasty. Only used 1/4 cabbage, halved spices (except paprika because I love it), kept remaining ingredients as is. A new favourite cabbage dish! Thanks for a wonderful recipe!

17/02/16 - Wonderful! Really loved this dish. Used chicken thighs, which I browned in a skillet first, and cooked in slow cooker for 8hrs. Added carrots, celery and capsicum. May reduce sugar slightly as is quite sweet. Super easy and super tasty! The sauce is amazing!

Deviled Sausages

Made this tonight. Very nice. Added 1/2 a large onion. Only other change was to increase sauce ingredients by half again (except water and cayenne) for a stronger flavour. Cooked pork sausages on stovetop until almost done then added everything to slow cooker. Wonderful flavour. Would definitely make this again. Enjoyed by all of the family. Thanks for a lovely recipe.

Cream of Chicken Breasts

Very bland. There was basically no flavourings for taste. Had to add minced garlic, mixed herbs, freshly ground black pepper, increase chicken seasoning and add cornflour at the end to thicken. I used water with the soup and added some cooking cream prior to serving. Cooked this dish in the slow cooker. After changing recipe to suit, it tasted lovely. I will make this again with my additions and may add some diced bacon and onion.

Rice was lovely. A bit spicy but we liked it. Didn't cook the chicken part. Only change was to add cooked chicken mince to rice mixture and cooked in rice cooker. The flavour really was nice. Didn't add capers or olives, but added diced celery instead. Thanks for a great recipe.

Maple Dill Carrots

Made this tonight. My husband and I enjoyed it, although our son wasn't a big fan. I did find it quite sweet so next time I might halve the sugar and see how that goes. It was easy to make. I adjusted the amounts to suit the 3 of us. I used dried dill. Will certainly give this recipe another go.

A Firefighter's Meatloaf

Absolutely delicious! So moist and tasty. 10/10! Only a couple of minor changes - used dry breadcrumbs in place of bread and added bbq sauce directly to meat mixture and topped the meatloaf with the remaining salsa in the jar. However, the meatloaf was breaking apart when I lifted it from the tin. I should have realised that this needs a binding agent such as an egg or two to hold it together. Will do that next time - and there will be a next time! Awesome recipe. Thank you for this.

Loaded Cauliflower

Was quite nice. Cooked cauliflower until just tender so it had a rice consistency when mashed. Added homemade ranch dressing seasoning mix. Made only one change - added cooked diced bacon and onion (instead of onion powder). Didn't feel it needed the butter on top. Might use fresh minced garlic next time instead of garlic powder. Thanks for the recipe.

Very nice. Could use extra parmesan and parsley and an additional 1tbs oil. Didn't require a lid and didn't burn. Turned out perfect, although did have oven set a little lower. Hubby and I enjoyed this, however, 11yo wasn't sold! lol Thanks for a great recipe. Will definitely make again.

Cajun Chicken Ragout

I cooked this in a slow cooker and then shredded the chicken when done. Like other reviewers, I thought this needed much more flavour. I used a Cajun spice mix to help with the flavour and tomato paste, as others suggested, more oregano, smoked paprika, thyme. In Australia we don't have andouille sausage that I am aware of, so I used a chorizo instead. After the changes, my family did enjoy this. However, even though it tasted nice with my changes, it was a long list of ingredients for only a reasonable flavour.

Really enjoyed this dish. Didn't change any ingredients. Cooked this in my rice cooker. Turned out perfect. Hubby wasn't so keen on the texture of the two different types together, so he will just have to miss out next time I make it lol.

Made this tonight. Lovely subtle pineapple flavour. I did, as another reviewer suggested, use all pineapple juice and no water. I also halved recipe to serve 4. I cooked these in the oven on the 'grill' setting. We gave this a 10. Would gladly have this again. Thanks for a nice recipe.
