This came out pretty good. I had been looking for a chili spaghetti sauce and this one worked for me. The beer blended very well with the other ingredients. Yum Yum.
I’ve been fix’n sausage gravy for years. I leave out the evaporated milk and butter. I prefer whole milk but 2% works. Before I add the flour I season the sausage with a teaspoon of Lowery’s seasoned salt. This gives it a unique taste. And, I stay away from flaky biscuits. I go with Pillsbury Southern style biscuits. I slice a biscuit in half, top with two scrambled eggs and smother in sausage gravy. It is without doubt delicious. That is my Country Scramble.
I used 2 lbs of ground beef instead of 1 1/2. And I added one chopped jalapeño for an extra kick. It was mmm mmm good.
