I prefer russet spuds, so used them several times now. Great results. Reduced parmesan to 3/4 cup, subbed in 1 cup sour cream; reduced cream cheese to 1/2 cup; subbed green onions for chives; added chicken bouillon to cooking water; boiled 4 whole large farmer's market garlic cloves with spuds & mashed together; added warm milk/cream when mashing. Now a family favorite :)
USE an 8x8 pan!! Subbed rum for rum extract
Subbed wt. choc. in top layer. Added few drops red food color to top layer. Used dark choc. chips in base.
