We replaced half the ground pork with ground beef. This recipe was easy, the result was yummy and reminded us of the French Canadian meat pie we have had many times over the years.
My family loves this recipe, we make it at least twice a month. I always increase the amount of bell peppers and I often decrease the dried chili peppers so it is not too spicy for me.
We do not save some cookie crumbs to use at the end. Love this easy, delicious dessert. These are a hit at every event we take them to.
