Candied Sweet Potatoes

This was great. I too reduced the butter to 1/2 cup and the brown sugar to 3/4 cup. I forgot to check how much my bag of potatoes weighed, so I held my five pound weight and compared to my bag of potatoes and the potatoes felt lighter. (My guess is that four large potatoes equal about four pounds??) My photo is after we had Thanksgiving dinner, so it had cooled a bit. The hubs and the teenager loved it too, and they are picky eaters!

My hubs called this soup "beautiful." And he is a super finicky eater. We didn't have Worstershire (spelling is off, sorry) sauce so I splashed a little soy sauce in. Tasted great, did not need any more salt than that used at the beginning of the recipe. We will eat this again.

Mine did not turn out as shiny as the photo shows. Less a glaze and most of a seasoning look. Not sure if I did something wrong but they still taste very good.
